muffin day

On Monday the 31st of August Gena Julia and Shamay from room13 did a pride challenge.Their pride challenge was muffin day.They made the muffins at home.And then they got a table from school and a big peace of paper and lots of felts.At lunch they set up the table and started to selling some muffins out side room 13.They sold them for 15c each.They did it for every day till Monday.They raised 31$ and 50c.all the money that they rased went strait to the r.s.p.c.a.

FIZZ,BANG,POP mystery mix

on Tuesday we did this cool FIZZ,BANG,POP thing.I will tell you who was in my group there was TUSCANY,IZZY,TAYLOR,OLIVIA and ME.I will tell you what we did in mystery mix. Well first we got a big plastic bag then we put in some tartic and some baking soda then we put water in a canister then we pored food colouring in. Next we put some damp rid in the bag then shook it and it went really hot. We passed it round and when Taylor gave the bag to me it blew up!

pride challenge

On Thursday the 22 of October 2009 me and Piper picked up rubbish around the school for a pride challenge. We got a big bag from the office. We found a lot of rubbish, half of the rubbish was glad wrap that is bad for the environment. We did it at morning tea and lunch. We got half a bag full!

fizz! bang! pop! chemical pop gun

On Thursday we did a wicked science experiment we made a chemical pop gun. First we got some baking powder and wrapped it in tissue paper, then we put malt vinegar in. We went out side, put the baking soda in the bottle, put a cork in the top and waited for something to happen. After 2 minutes something happened. It all started to foam and the cork started to come off. The cork rocketed right off and flew 24m.

FIZZ! BANG! POP!

fizz! bang! pop! is a cool part of pai time at windsor school in yr 4. fizz! bang! pop! is chemistry and science . for our first experiment we made quicksand by using flour and water, for our second experiment we found out how to blow a ballon up without using our mouths are third experiment was a lemonade experiment we got a bottle of lemonade and we could do anything with it kick it, shake it, throw it and step on it,for our fourth one we used vinegar and quick eze which are lollys that we stuck on the top of a mini container where the vinegar was we had to wait quite a while for it to blow up and at the end a big finally.

Pai time/mentos experiment

On Monday the 12 of October team weka did pai time we did lots of experiments like making quicksand,making bubbles fly,building hard balls,and making fire extinguishers.My fingers got in the quicksand and I could not get it of it.At the end we made a huge big Bang with the mentos experiment.The end

Science day

On Monday it was SCIENCE DAY!!!!!! we went to 5 classes +our class. At the end of the day we had a FIZZ BANG POP!!! with diet coke , coke zero and sprite , and it was so much fun because we put mentos in the bottles;-) But now it is time for the big one!!! here we go>

my cat

My cat came down from Invarargill on Sunday, at first she was shi but now shes really settling in. Back in Invcargell she didint like me but now she really likes me.

opposite day!!!!!

On the 24 of September it was OPPOSITE DAY at Windsor school.We had to dress up all wacky and OPPOSITE. I put on some Jeans and a skirt over top I also put on a backwards top and a
Jersey. Every one else looked really wacky too.
At play time I could hardly run because they were way to tight.Thank you for reading.The end

Opposite day!!

Hi, today at school we are having OPPOSITE DAY!!!! That means we can dress up as WACKY as we can.I dressed up with weird socks on, cut jeans, a pink thermal underneath another pink t-shirt, some high jandals and my cozy pink dressing gown also a very funky mask.At lunch a couple of people came up to me and said "who are you?" and i pulled my mask off and said "it's me, Claudia" and they were like "oh".It's really fun today being OPPOSITE and also some of the boys were dressed up as girls! One last thing is that all the glorious money will go to the awesome Ronald MC Donald house in New Zealand:)
